Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Claims Connected to Wide Receiver the Athlete
The NFL franchise issued a statement Wednesday night indicating they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations made public in online accounts by a former girlfriend of player the athlete and were in communication with the league office.
The organization omitted the name of Rice by name in their announcement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who also did not mention Rice directly, shared a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has two children with the football player, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.
